
Uroš Praš took my GPS tracker with him on a few wingsuit flights. The result is a big log file, with a lot of statistics. I used GpsActionReplay software to create the image and to review the flight path and characteristics. With these little devices one can record position, altitude, speed, heading, satellite info and other information with ease. You can then use this information to render paths in Google Earth, GpsActionReplay or similar software products.
Below is a screenshot with current altitute and speed over ground as calculated by GpsActionReplay. Some speeds are simply weird, but you get the picture. It is definetly nice to have this data available.
